Shout Productions was formed by Ben Handley in September 2002. The aim was to create a company capable of producing high quality shows for a variety of audiences within the region with the plan to extend into musical theatre productions.
The company demands extremely high standards from all of its team and this is evident in its productions to date. The Team is a mixture of either the cream of the amateur crop or working professionals within the industry, therefore making the quality of the performance and production extremely high. Each individual has been either hand-picked and invited to join the group or highly recommended by others.
Within its first 3 years of operation Shout Productions has produced many innovative shows, all of which have achieved high critical acclaim by some of the most respected individuals within the performing arts and theatre industry. Their week-long sell out run of ‘Fame’ the Musical proved to be ever-popular with audiences as did their production of ‘Magical Musicals’ at Wolverhampton’s 1,200 seater Grand Theatre.
With a yearly summer school for children and the credibility of performing at the Mayor Making Celebrations for the City of Wolverhampton, Shout Productions operates a wide and varied programme of events.
Over the first 3 years the company has grown from strength to strength and has conquered many productions that were, admittedly, a challenge at first but a huge success by the opening night. To mark this achievement, the company gained professional status in November 2005 and has been renamed as The Shout Production TC Limited which is supported by a Board of Directors and Officers.
